2008 Classes And Rules
 
 
Bracket Class
Any car is allowed
 
You set your dial-in time 
 
Top Fuel Funny Car
The funny car class is a combined nitro and electric class
 
Electric cars can have up to 10 NiMh "Round" cells or up to a 3 cell Lipo pack. Brushless motors are allowed.
 
Nitro cars can have up to a .21 motor, Motor mods allowed 
 
40oz minimum weight 
  
 
Top Fuel Dragster

44oz minimum weight
 
 
Extreme Class
Anything goes, Nitro and Electric 
 
 
Points System
MHRA CHAMPIONSHIP
Contestants in each of the racing categories compete for the MHRA Championship title on the basis of total points won at MHRA events.

MHRA EVENTS
Winner                            100
Runner-up                      80
Third-round loser         60
Second-round loser    40
First-round loser          20

Additional points are awarded at national events as follows:

10 points to contestants - 1 qualifying run required.
20 points for establishing an official ET record.

Qualifying positions earn points as follows:

1st                           8
2nd                         7
3rd                          6
4th                          5
5th & 6th               4
7th & 8th               3
9th thru 12th        2
13th thru 16th     1
 
IMDRA Regional Points are separate from MHRA Points. All Races will be MHRA Points Races. But the IMDRA Regional Races will be held during normal MHRA racing activities. Points will be awarded to the MHRA members, as well as current IMDRA members in their classes. IMDRA Points differ slightly from MHRA Points. Check with the IMDRA for your Regional points.
