The second points race of the season has been completed. Once again it was a low turn out but that didn't stop us from racing. There was still six cars in the nitro top fuel class and three in extreme. In funny car class the battle went on between Mike Smith and Nick Skinner with Mike coming out on top this time. Nick Skinner was top qualifier. In the extreme class it was the Rainman Jim Schauer once again running in the 1.4 range and taking top qualifier with a 1.45 at 96 mph. He also took the win with a 1.472 @ 96.85 MPH. Runner up was Mark Rollings. In the nitro top fuel class it was Mark Rollings taking TQ and the win. Runner up was Dean Butts. In the bracket class it was Jim Skinner taking home the cash over Gary K. Some things to mention, Jim Schauer running 1.45,1.47, he also ran 98 mph in practice. Mark Rollings in top fuel ran his best pass ever witch was a 1.63 with his A-51 car. Gary Reeter with his brand new grand motorsports nitro top fuel car got in to the 1.9 range. This is only his second time out with his car.
