 That's right boys and girl's the 1.3 have been reached!!! Mr.Nic Case has set the RC drag racing world on fire. This is Nic's first time out with a drag car. He is no stranger to speed though, he is the RC Car Action Land Speed Record Holder also. Under the watchful eye of the rainman Jim Shauer, Nic was getting faster and faster all day. He qualified #3 with a 1.509. Then in the final round he lays down a 1.3277 @ 96.99mph becoming the first person to run a 1.3 second pass. Great job Nic, you are now the quickest and fastest man on the planet.

 If that wasn't enough, a old timer of the MHRA Tim Smith returned after a 15 year hiatus and lays down a 1.403. Once again the rainman had something to do with this, infact he had a lot to do with it, it was his motor,esc, and lipo's in tims car. Never the less it was an awesome return for Tim Smith. Mark Rollings also ran a brushless lipo setup and ran 3 1.50 passes witch got him #2 qualifier and a runner up.

In the funny car class, Nick Skinner comes away with a TQ and the win. He ran an incredible 1.634 with his mamba lipo funny car. He beat the only nitro funny car in the class Brian Boudakian for the win.

In the Nitro Top Fuel Class it was Brian Boudakian taking TQ with a 1.714 and the win over Alex Garza. Brian and his father Jack have been working on their car and getting faster and faster every time they come out. They ran an awesome 1.660 in the heat to take the win. Awesome run guys.
